Lateral thinking is solving problems through an indirect and creative approach, using reasoning that is not immediately obvious and involving ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step-by-step logic. A country where half of its population is unaware about topics such as these.
In a society where we all have access to the internet,a resource that can change your world, a resource that needs only an effort but where is this effort going is a question of ultimate importance.
Lateral thinking involves generating an idea that comes randomly, the idea has to be grasped, held tight and is to be thought upon. The idea when thought upon can do wonders. Wonders that introd-uced innovative men such as Thomas Alva Edison,Issac Newton and many others. What life would have Newton had if he had lt the idea of the falling apple pass away. There were times when humanity was in danger and just an idea changed the world.
We accept any new idea that we are taught, we hear new concepts and let them be as they are. Just think ,how many times has it been that you pop out of a class and creatively think of whatsoever has been taught. Lateral thinking will often produce solutions whereby the problem appears as "obvious" in hindsight. That lateral thinking will often lead to problems that you never knew you had, or it will solve simple problems that have a huge potential.
So the next time when you are wandering off somewhere in your own world, let ideas flow no matter how unusual or stupid they are because every idea would have an approach that could change your world and mine too.
